Hi, I'm Katie Broom, M.A. CCC-SLP, and I am a Speech-Language Pathologist and co-owner of Texas Elite Therapy Team. Lauren and I created this company to be able to better serve our community. We are so blessed to be able to do what we love in our home towns. I have been an SLP for 7 years and love being able to better support my hometown and surrounding areas with speech and swallowing needs. I am passionate about swallowing in all populations from infant to geriatrics. I am a certified lactation CLC and love being able to provide resources to local moms to help support their postpartum journey. 

My favorite part of being an SLP is getting to learn more about our patients and their stories. I enjoy seeing our patients in our community events and consider every one of them part of our family. It is so rewarding to be able to treat individuals we know and trust so that they can have better quality of lives! 

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and making memories outdoors hiking or swimming in a river. A fun fact about me is that I have 4 children ranging in age from 6 years old to 1. We love doing things outdoors and exploring new national parks as a family.
