Building Texas Elite Together

Texas Elite Therapy Team began with two Speech-Language Pathologists, Lauren Pasak and Katie Broom, a shared passion for helping others, and a belief that something more was possible for the communities they called home.

Both Lauren and Katie knew firsthand how important access to quality therapy could be for individuals and families. They also saw the challenges that came with living in a rural community—long drives, limited options, and families sometimes having to travel far from home to find the specialized care they needed.

They began asking themselves a simple question:

What if families didn't have to leave their community to find the care they needed?

From that question came a dream. And eventually, that dream became a plan.

There were plenty of unknowns along the way. Starting something of their own meant taking chances, making sacrifices, and believing in something before they could see what it would become. But Lauren and Katie shared a belief that kept them moving forward:

“If you build it, they will come.”

So they built it.

They built it with long days and late nights.
They built it with faith, determination, and a whole lot of heart.
They built it for the children who needed someone to believe in them.
They built it for the adults working to regain a voice, a skill, or a piece of their independence.
They built it for the parents who simply wanted the best for their child.
And they built it for the families in their own backyard who deserved exceptional care without having to travel hours to find it.

And then, the community came.

Families began walking through the doors. Physicians began sending patients their way. Children began finding their voices. Adults began making progress toward goals they once weren't sure were possible. Families began sharing their stories. And little by little, the dream became something much bigger than either of them could have imagined.

What began with two women and a vision has grown into a team of therapists who share that same commitment to serving others. Texas Elite continues to grow because of the trust placed in them by patients, families, physicians, and the communities they are honored to serve.

Lauren and Katie may have started Texas Elite, but the community helped build it.

Every patient who walked through the door, every family who trusted them, every therapist who joined their team, and every person who believed in their vision became part of the story.

Today, Texas Elite Therapy Team is more than a therapy practice. It is a reflection of what can happen when you believe in your community, take a chance on a dream, and are willing to build something before you know exactly what it will become.

They believed in the vision.
They built it.
The community came.
And they are just getting started.
